It’s now your turn to experience the true Mallorca.

For the next 7 days you will be based in Port de Pollenca on the shores of the Bay of Pollenca. Situated in the north of the island at the foot of the famous Tramuntana mountain range and the gateway to the rolling country roads that have come to make Mallorca one of the most famous places to cycle in the world.

Whether you are new to cycling or an experienced cyclist our dedicated Velo Club Europe guides are here to show you some of the best routes well away from traffic to experience the true Mallorca.

We design our rides so that can also improve your group riding, climbing and descending as well as your fitness, we are never far away to help, support and motivate, you can very quickly then understand why we take so much pleasure and pride in delivering a balance of quality cycling and relaxation.

 

Accommodation

The Flora Aparthotel was designed for comfort and relaxation. The individual one bedroom apartment offers guests a lounge with a separate bedroom and balcony for a flexible relaxing stay designed for all kinds of travellers and needs.

Both hotels are situated in Puerto Pollenca on the North of the island, giving you easy access to local nature, the beach, leisure areas, shops and culture on the shores of the Mediterranean.

Puerto Pollenca approximately 45 minutes from the Palma airport.

  • Seven nights in a one bedroom apartment complete separate bedroom, sofa beds and balcony, fully airconditioned (hot & cold) complete with a fully equipped kitchen and LCD television.
  • Aparthotel located approximately 150m from sea front and less than 4 minutes walk from the towns square.
  • Your own dedicated Velo Club Europe guides for the next 7 days.
  • Bed & breakfast option or Half board stays.
  • Local recommended bike hire stores.

 

Itinerary

Day 1 – Saturday. Arrive and set up day.

  • Arrive in Port de Pollenca.
  • Collect your bike from the nearby bike rental shop.
  • With a free evening take in a gentle stroll along the beautiful seafront on the shores of “the bay of Pollenca” and a good night sleep for the days ahead.

Day 2 – Sunday.

  • Enjoy a big fresh Flora buffet breakfast and get ready for a day in the saddle.
  • Head out into the Mallorcan countryside taking in lots of quiet “B” roads, being the first day we will be assessing everyone’s abilities and aims for the week so they can maximise and enjoy the week ahead.
  • A lunch stop is always part of riding in Mallorca or at least coffee & cake…or why not both !
  • Return to base and relax by pool side or your own private balcony.

Day 3 – Monday.

  • Setting off after breakfast we leave to take on some of the unique rolling roads that most of the top continental professional teams come here to train on.
  • The days ride will take us through various Mallorcan villages and you will see a different pace of life.
  • Roll along the quiet lanes of Mallorca back to the hotel.

Day 4 – Tuesday.

  • Once breakfast has settled we will ride to the world famous Tramuntana mountain range which is now a Unesco World Heritage site.
  • A steady ride with on road coaching, mentoring on climbing, descending and group riding.
  • Lunch stop taking in the magnificent views.

Day 5 – Wednesday.

  • This morning is more of a recovery ride just to turn the legs after an exhilarating days riding in the mountains.
  • Returning to base before lunch time, this gives you the chance to “chill on the beach” or take advantage of Port de Pollenca’s Wednesdays market.

Day 6 – Thursday.

  • Head south through the quiet “B” roads of central Mallorca.
  • The return leg of today’s ride will take in a few climbs and breathtaking views from the Tramuntana mountain ranges.
  • Lunch stop in one of our handpicked stop off points.

Day 7 – Friday.

  • We leave one of the most scenic rides on the island to the last day, on this ride you will be now a fully fledged Mallorcan fan.
  • We stop exactly half way for …. you guessed it, coffee and a guaranteed photo session.
  • Return to the Port and last chance to put into practice everything you have picked up on during your stay.
  • If required assistance with return of hire bikes and unfortunately say goodbye till next time.

Children aged 2 to 12, 50% reduction with 2 sharing adults.
